Five Pakistanis deported from Turkey

RAWALPINDI: Five Pakistanis deported from
Turkey for illegal stay and with incomplete
documents arrived on Thursday. According to
details, the five included Muhammad Ali Khan,
Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Tariq, Muhammad
Imtaiz and Nasir Mehmood who were deported by
the Turkish authorities landed at Benazir Bhutto
International airport from Qatar airlines flight
TK-710 and were taken into custody by Federal
investigation Agency (FIA). FIA officials recorded
the statements of deportees before shifting them
to Anti-Human Trafficking cell. Many Pakistani
young men seeking jobs in Turkey and other
European countries pay huge amounts to agents
for going abroad, at times borrowing money or
selling assets of their families to pay the
traffickers to send them abroad. Meanwhile in
another operation, FIA arrested a person Zaheer
Abbas who was travelling to Italy by flight no
QR-633 on illegal documents. Cases have been
registered against them and further investigation
is underway.
